Slough off those old skin cells—they're making your hands look old! This is such an easy, but rewarding step to add into your beauty routine. No need to do this everyday; once or twice a week is all you need. Just make sure you are using organic ingredients. Our skin is our largest organ and absorbs whatever we put on it, right into our bodies, so it's important we use the best ingredients possible. Also, be sure that the olive oil you use is extra virgin! The olive oil is what helps smooth out and add elasticity to our skin (thanks to the antioxidants).
Here's what I used:
Newman's Own Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Organic cane sugar (you can use organic brown sugar or bath salts as a substitute)
Optional: A drop or 2 essential oil of your choice
Bonus! After making your hands oh-so-smooth, take what you have leftover of the mixture and rub it on your lips. It will exfoliate any dead skin. ::Kissable!::
Enjoy your soft, smooth hands (and lips)!
