Juice it! Apple/Celery

It's no mystery that fresh, homemade juice is amazing for your health. We get more minerals, vitamins, and enzymes from fresh juice that are otherwise destroyed in modern food processing. Additionally, juicing releases nutrients that we cannot get from eating the fruits/veggies in their raw state, and it's much easier to get your full servings of fruits/veggies this way. Also, when we make it at home, we know exactly what is going into our bodies unlike with store-bought juices that are usually full of added sugars and GMOs. Be sure you are using organic ingredients that are in good shape when bought (no bruises).

Making your own juice is one of the best things you can add to your daily routine. Each fruit/veggie combo has its own unique benefits. It's fun to experiment and try new recipes! I will start sharing with you guys the recipes I try and love!

This one is apples and celery. This juice is great to have upon rising in the morning. Apples are very detoxifying and cleanse your system. The vitamins A and C in apples help tone the skin and maintain healthy teeth. Celery aids in digestion and is high in magnesium which calm the nerves. It also helps curb a sweet tooth throughout the day!

Recipe:

2 whole apples

4 celery stalks (tops + greens)

a couple drops of lemon juice (optional)
