Juice it! Apple/Cucumber/Celery

A new juice combo I tried this past weekend! Apples, cucumber, celery, and a bit of lemon. All of these ingredients just scream "refreshing" to me—and it was!

Cucumbers are great for cleansing the system since they contain mostly water. They provide electrolytes which will help hydrate your body—and a hydrated body means supple skin and strong hair! Besides vitamins A, B, and C, cucumbers contain silica and sulfur which will strengthen connective tissue and promote hair growth. These are just a few of the health benefits, but there are many more! Drink up!

Recipe:

2 whole apples (I used Gala)

4 celery stalks (tops + greens)

1/2 of a cucumber (use the skin, too!)

1/2 of a lemon
